Harpoon Brewery and Reebok Collaborate on a Special Edition of Harpoon Rec. League Beer

Crepcheck everyone! Our inner-sneaker head came out when we heard about this collaboration between Harpoon Brewery and Reebok.

It’s not often a shoe x brewery collaboration comes out in the craft beer universe and I wish we had our cameras rolling to document this Reebok Harpoon Brewery Beer Collaboration. Being an avid runner myself, it hasn’t gone unnoticed that almost every brewery has a community running club. This folded into the current upswing of the craft beer industry leaning into athletics makes this collaboration’s timing perfect! Even better, a portion of this collaboration’s sales goes to BOKS (Build Our Kids’ Success), a program dedicated to promoting life-long health and fitness in local youth communities (in Boston).

Boston neighbors Harpoon Brewery and Reebok have collaborated to release Harpoon Rec. League – The Reebok Edition, a co-branded release of the brewery’s low-cal, low-alcohol hoppy and hazy pale ale.

The Reebok Harpoon Brewery Beer Collaboration Harpoon Rec. League features the same recipe Harpoon fans know and love encased in a new fresh Reebok-inspired container, including cans sporting the Reebok logo and 12-pack packaging evoking the Reebok sneaker box design. The color ways match up perfectly!

League was the first beer we created that both complements an active lifestyle and embodies our ‘love beer, love life’ motto,” said Dan Kenary, CEO and co-founder of Harpoon Brewery. “Partnering with Reebok, a brand dedicated to sports and fitness and the impact they have on peoples’ lives, made sense with them not only being our neighbor, but also their passion for giving back to our shared local community. Harpoon Rec. League is brewed with unique ingredients like buckwheat kasha, which contains important minerals and B vitamins; chia seeds that are high in fiber, Omega-3 fatty acids and antioxidants; and Mediterranean sea salt that can act as a powerful source of electrolytes. Coming in at 4.0% ABV and only 120 calories per 12 oz. serving, it provides flavor and drinkability.

The Reebok Edition of Harpoon Rec. League will be available in 4-packs ($8.99) and 12-packs ($14.99) starting in July 2022. It will be available on tap at both the Boston and Windsor, VT Tap Rooms and wherever Harpoon beers are distributed.
